Skilift Raten

Skilift Raten is a small, family-friendly ski area on the Ratengütsch in the canton of Zug. Two prepared pistes – the faster Gütsch Schuss run and the gentler Wäldli Kurve – lead down to the children's area, where the «Mega-Star» children's lift and the Pinocchio rope lift make it easy for beginners to get started. There are also prepared sledging runs, a snowshoe trail and a kiosk with a sheltered lounge.

The children's area offers ideal terrain for small and grown-up beginners: the «Mega-Star» children's lift with a button lift, the Pinocchio rope lift, play equipment and a ski carousel with tubes. There are also prepared sledging runs on the Hotteten-Hügel and the Weisstannenstutz.

Food and drinks

The «Raten Kiosk» in the new ski-lift hut serves guests simple regional products such as hot dogs, sausages from the grill, apple cider, Swiss soft drinks, coffee, beer from central Switzerland and Swiss wine. There is an unheated, wind-protected lounge and deck chairs; the syrup bar operates on sunny Sundays.

The prices apply to the 2026/2027 season. Besides single tickets for children and adults, there is a combined ticket for one child with an accompanying adult, a family ticket for parents and up to five children, and season passes for children, combined and family.
