Skilift Oberiberg

Skilift Oberiberg
Skilift Oberiberg is a small ski area in Oberiberg, Switzerland, with two lifts: the Roggen lift with varied pistes for beginners and advanced skiers, and the family-friendly St. Johannesberg T-bar lift with reduced speed and a hook-on service. A winter children's land with a carousel and magic carpets, also popular for sledging, complements the offer. In summer the site runs the free Kabi Bike Park with six trails in three difficulty levels.

Families and Kids

The winter children's land is aimed at the youngest guests: children learn to ski quickly on the magic carpet, and the large magic carpet lets more confident kids improve their skills playfully. The large magic carpet is also popular with families for sledging, and the children's land includes a carousel.

Food and drinks

The professionally run Restaurant Roggen has a spacious sun terrace and a traditional dining room, and is also suitable for private events. Snacks and drinks are available at the lift kiosk at St. Johannesberg.

FAQ

  • Can I buy single rides or a points card instead of a day pass?
Yes. Single rides are available for both lifts, and there are 10- and 20-point cards. A ride on the Roggen lift costs 2 points and a ride on the St. Johannesberg lift 1 point.
  • What makes the St. Johannesberg lift suitable for families with small children?
The St. Johannesberg lift is compact and easy to oversee, so parents can keep their children in view. The child-friendly T-bar runs at reduced speed and offers a hook-on service, and beginners can start on the magic carpet if the T-bar is still too difficult.
  • Is there anywhere to eat at the ski area?
Yes, the Restaurant Roggen with its sun terrace and traditional dining room serves food and drinks, and snacks and drinks are also available at the lift kiosk at St. Johannesberg.
  • What does parking at the Roggen lift cost?
Parking at the Roggen lift is subject to a fee, with the first hour free (the licence plate number must still be entered). Payment is possible in cash at the parking meter, via parking apps or Twint, and parking is free from 19:00 to 07:00.
  • Can the Restaurant Roggen be booked for private events?
Yes, the restaurant seats around 65 people and is suited to events such as general meetings, weddings or birthdays, with plenty of space around the house for children to play. Reservations can be made by phone or email.
