Skilift Grenchenberg

Skilift Grenchenberg is located on the sunny side of the Jura above Grenchen in the canton of Solothurn and is a small ski area with two ski lifts: a 400-metre T-bar lift that also serves as access to the larger button lift. The area caters to skiers and snowboarders and offers night skiing under a starry sky as a special attraction. Depending on snow conditions, the season runs from mid-December to mid-March.

Families and Kids

The Schneesportschule Grenchenberg offers ski and snowboard courses for all age groups, with group courses for children during the sports holidays and private lessons. The Pistenbock lets children ride up on the T-bar lift and sledge down without effort.

Food and drinks

Several mountain inns surround the Grenchenberg, including Restaurant Untergrenchenberg at 1300 m with views over the Mittelland to the Alps and a hot pot, Restaurant Obergrenchenberg at 1348 m with self-service, and Restaurant Stierenberg at 1072 m. Many of these inns also offer overnight accommodation.
