Skilift Appenzell-Sollegg

Skilift Appenzell-Sollegg is a small ski area in Appenzell, Switzerland, located about five minutes on foot from Appenzell railway station. It is served by a surface lift built in 1953 and a practice lift, giving access to prepared pistes across easy, intermediate and advanced grades. From the Sollegg top station at 1,204 m, visitors enjoy long descents and, in clear weather, views as far as Lake Constance.

Opening hours

Pistes are open from the start of the season in December until the season ends at the latest on 19 March. On weekdays the lift runs 13:00–16:10, while on weekends, during the Christmas holidays and during the sports holidays (13–22 February 2026) it runs 09:30–16:10.
