Sci Lift Prato Leventina
Sci Lift Prato Leventina is a small ski area in Prato Leventina, Switzerland, located 3 km from the Varenzo motorway exit. It offers 5 km of downhill pistes on a west-facing slope, served by a ski lift from 1050 to 1300 m above sea level, with a black piste, red pistes and a blue piste through the forest. The area has snowmaking, a heated buvette, a large free car park, a ski school and a 2 km cross-country circuit between Prato and Mascengo.
Families and Kids
The Sci Club Rodi-Fiesso organises ski, snowboard and cross-country courses for children, teenagers and adults. The ski school team holds G+S certification for alpine skiing, snowboard and cross-country skiing and offers individual or group lessons on reservation. A pony lift for the first slides is normally available, though it was not available this season.
Food and drinks
The Sci Lift Prato has a heated buvette with 80 seats, from which the pony lift and the start of the anchor lift can be seen, plus a large terrace next to the lower part of the pistes. Volunteer staff serve drinks and snacks, and at weekends and during the Christmas and carnival holidays the kitchen serves different hot dishes at lunch. Private dinners for groups can be organised on request.
