Schwarzsee is a ski area in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. The mountain railways serve the Riggisalp/Kaiseregg area at up to 1750 m above sea level, with 2 chairlifts, 2 ski lifts and a small magic carpet as well as a ski school area. A total of 20 km of well-groomed pistes are available for skiers and snowboarders, and modern snowmaking systems ensure reliable snow conditions.

Families and Kids

On the Riggisalp there is the Drachenland Kaiseregg with a playground featuring characters such as the dwarfs Hansli and Trixli and the dragons Brutus, Edi and Lili. Children can discover balancing stations, a dragon slide and a dragon cable car, and listen to the stories as audio in dialect, standard German and French.

Food and drinks

Dining options include the Restaurant Bärghuus Riggisalp at the mountain station and the Restaurant Gypsera in the valley. Local specialities are served in the traditional alpine huts.

Opening hours
