SchneeSelital

SchneeSelital is a small ski area in the Gantrisch region near Bern, Switzerland, operating since 1956 with ski lifts, prepared pistes and a magic carpet for beginners. The area also includes a cross-country skiing centre and the Berghütte Selital mountain hut, and is part of the Magic Pass network.

Families and Kids

The Zauberteppich (magic carpet) lets the youngest children take their first steps and turns on skis or ride a bob in a very protected setting. Group ski courses for beginners start from age 4, and the Berner SnowDays bring primary school classes from the Bern region to the pistes.

Food and drinks

The PanoramaBar at the top station of the Gäggerlift offers views, atmosphere and surprises, reachable by lift or winter hiking trail. The Berghütte Selital is a mountain hut for dining and events, and several club huts (Skihütte Skiclub Selital, Clubhütte SC Schwarzenburg, Clubhütte SC Christiania, Süftenenhütte) are located near the pistes.
