Sattelegg

Sattelegg is a pass at 1,198 m above sea level between Willerzell and Vorderthal, between Lake Sihl and the Wägital valley. The ski area at the pass has a ski lift with prepared pistes as well as a mountain restaurant with a large sun terrace and panoramic views of the Glarus and Wägital Alps.

Ski courses for children are run by Skiclub Wägital on selected dates in winter 2026/2027.

The Bergrestaurant Sattelegg on the pass summit serves snack platters, inexpensive daily dishes and a large ice-cream menu, with a large sun terrace and a Säli for 20 to 140 people. Group menus are available for groups of 10 or more, along with Z'vieri, aperitif and brunch options.
