San Bernardino

San Bernardino is a mountain resort in the southern Swiss Alps in the canton of Graubünden. Its ski area comprises two sectors accessible with the same ski pass: Confin, with about 35 km of slopes up to 2,525 m, and Pian Cales, with about 5 km of slopes right in the village centre. Both sectors offer blue, red and black runs as well as dedicated beginners' areas.

Families and Kids

San Bernardino is family-friendly: at Pian Cales and in the beginners' area at Confin, children can make their first turns in dedicated learning zones with Fullski ski school instructors. The SanBe Kids Multisport programme offers afternoon games, snow activities, ice skating and cross-country skiing for children aged 5 to 14 during the winter holidays, plus special events such as a New Year's Eve party or a masked ski party. Fun without skis comes from the toboggan run from Pian Cales down to the village and the ice rink at the San Remo Sports Center.

Food and drinks

In the ski areas, the Confin Hut with self-service, restaurant, bar and panoramic terrace, and the Baita Motton at 2,300 m right on the slopes invite you to take a break. In the village and near Pian Cales you will find Bistrot Central, the Igloo Pian Cales for fondue and dishes to share, as well as restaurants and bars such as Brocco & Posta serving Swiss and Italian cuisine.
