Saas-Balen
Saas-Balen is a small mountain village at 1,483 m in the north of the Saas-Fee/Saastal holiday region in Switzerland. It is known for the Fellbach waterfall, the round church from 1812 that is unique in its form in Switzerland, and hiking trails to the hamlets of Matt and Heimischgartu. A 26 km long cross-country ski trail starts right next to the village, and a village ski lift operates in winter.
