Obersaxen Mundaun

Obersaxen Mundaun
Obersaxen Mundaun is a winter sports area in the Surselva region of the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland, linked to Lumnezia by a ski circuit. Around 120 kilometres of pistes, snow-sure sunny slopes and well-groomed runs offer varied skiing for beginners, advanced skiers and families. The offering includes a snowpark, a ski-movie race piste, night skiing, sledging runs, winter hiking trails and cross-country ski tracks.

Families and Kids

Children's group lessons start from age 5, while children from age 4 are welcome in the children's land to take their first steps in the snow. The Kinderland in Cuolm Sura has several conveyor lifts and snowmaking for reliable snow, and the "Snowli im Piratenland" children's land at Chummenbühl features two magic carpets, a ski carousel and a pirate ship. A ski and snowboard race for children is held every Friday.

Food and drinks

The area has several mountain restaurants and huts: the modern Bergrestaurants Wali, Triel and Piz Sezner, the traditional Kartitscha, Piz Mundaun and Chummenbühl establishments, and the Sternenbar for sunny hours with music. Regional specialities are served with panoramic views.
