Le Brassus
Le Brassus is a village in the Vallée de Joux in the Swiss canton of Vaud, known as a birthplace of haute horlogerie and surrounded by the Risoud forest and Jura pastures. In winter it is served by the Téléskis des Mollards ski area, a small local ski area with two ski lifts, a bar, two free car parks and a Swiss Ski School. The village offers hotels, restaurants, watchmaking museums and access to the region's cross-country ski trails and winter hiking routes.
Families and Kids
The Téléskis des Mollards in Le Brassus include a Swiss Ski School (ESS) for lessons. The wider Vallée de Joux offers family-friendly winter activities such as the Mollendruz treasure hunt with chocolate fondue, sledging runs and groomed winter hiking trails.
Food and drinks
Le Brassus has several dining options, including the Brasserie Le Gogant by Emmanuel Renaut at the Hôtel des Horlogers, the bistro Restaurant Hôtel de la Lande serving local cuisine, and The Burgerland for restaurant meals, take-away and delivery. The Buvette du Téléski des Mollards at the start of the ski lift welcomes skiers and fans of local cuisine from autumn to spring.
