Feldis

Feldis is a small mountain village on a sunny terrace at 1,500 m above sea level high above the Domleschg valley in the Viamala vacation region. The ski and sledding area on the Heinzenberg offers ten kilometres of pistes, several sledding runs, snowshoe and cross-country trails, as well as ice stock sport on Alp Raguta. Feldis is reachable year-round by cable car from Rhäzüns and the Feldis-Mutta chairlift.

Families and Kids

Feldis is a family-friendly area with a children's ski school at the Pinocchio lift, where children born in 2019 to 2022 are grouped by ability. The Pinocchio lift is open daily and day or weekly passes include access to the Ski-Hüsli, where children can warm up with a hot drink. A playground at the former school building and several family-friendly sledding runs round off the offer.

FAQ

  • Is there a ski school in Feldis?
Yes, a ski school is again available in Feldis, organised by Thomas Gisi and his team. Group and private alpine skiing lessons are offered, and the Pinocchio lift at Volg is also in operation.
  • What winter activities besides skiing are available in Feldis?
Besides skiing and snowboarding, Feldis offers several sledding runs, snowshoe trails of the Schneeschuh-Arena Dreibündenstein, two cross-country ski trails, winter hiking trails, and a natural ice field on Alp Raguta for ice skating, curling and ice stock sport.
  • How do you reach Feldis?
Feldis is reached year-round by the Luftseilbahn Rhäzüns-Feldis cable car from Rhäzüns, and within the village the Feldis-Mutta chairlift leads up to the Mutta. In winter a shuttle bus connects the village with the chairlift valley station.
  • Where can you park in Feldis?
Guests of the Feldis mountain railways park free of charge at the valley station car park. Parking in Feldis itself is very limited, so the large car park at the Rhäzüns cable car valley station is recommended, which is also free for mountain railway guests.
