Blatten-Belalp

Blatten-Belalp
Blatten-Belalp is a ski area in Valais, Switzerland, situated high above the Rhone valley. The car-free Belalp offers over 45 km of prepared pistes with views of the Great Aletsch Glacier and four-thousand-metre peaks such as the Matterhorn, Weisshorn and Dufourspitze. The area extends from the valley station in Blatten bei Naters up to the slopes of the Hohstock at 3,118 m above sea level and includes a snowpark, fun slopes, freeride routes and the free children's Hexenland.

Families and Kids

In the free Hexenland right at the top station of the gondola, little guests learn to ski among bewitched figures. On the Hexenschuss race track, children can measure their descent time in real time, and the Schneekringel fun slope offers wave tracks, curves and sound boxes. Even non-skiers get their money's worth on the witches' broom tubing track and the inflatables.

Food and drinks

The Blatten-Belalp destination has restaurants and bars in Naters, Birgisch, Mund, Blatten and on the Belalp. Offerings range from Valais specialities such as cholera and raclette to pizza, pasta, burgers and other highlights. On the Belalp, Restaurant Ricco's Iglu also invites guests to stop in.
