Axalp ob Brienz

Axalp ob Brienz lies on a terrace high above Lake Brienz in the Bernese Oberland and is a family-friendly ski area with wide, perfectly groomed pistes. In winter it offers skiing and snowboarding, cross-country skiing, sledging, snowshoeing and night skiing; in summer there are hiking trails such as the AXI-Pfad and the Schnitzlerweg to Hinterburgseeli.

Families and Kids

The Axiland practice area below the Windegg chairlift valley station is the training ground of the Schweizer Skischule Axalp, with many courses and a small Axi-Park with jumps and boxes suitable for most children. It also leaves room for first attempts on skis or for sledging. Children under 6 use the Axiland free of charge.
