Alpenquell Adventure Pool

The Alpenquell Erlebnisbad in Samnaun-Compatsch, Switzerland, is an indoor adventure pool and sauna complex. It features a large swimming pool, whirlpools and massage jets, an ice-cold spring water shower, a steam bath, a solarium and a sauna area with panoramic views. The facility is open year-round and is a popular alternative on rainy days or after a day of skiing.

Families and Kids

The Alpenquell adventure pool offers a children's paddling pool and a multi-purpose pool suitable for swimmers and non-swimmers. Children love playing with the water while parents relax in the adventure pool. Access to the sauna area is only from age 16, except on Wednesdays when families with children aged 7 and above are allowed.

FAQ

  • Are there age restrictions for children in the sauna area?
    Access to the SaunaWelt is only permitted from age 16. On Wednesdays, families with children aged 7 and above are also allowed.
  • Is the pool suitable for young children?
    Yes, there is a children's paddling pool (Kinderplanschbecken) and a multi-purpose pool suitable for both swimmers and non-swimmers.
  • Can I get free admission with the guest card?
    Yes, in summer and autumn admission to the adventure pool is free with the Samnaun guest card, which you receive from your host from the first overnight stay. A sauna surcharge of CHF 7 applies.
  • What facilities are available in the sauna area?
    The SaunaWelt includes a Finnish sauna (95°C), an Arven bio-sauna (55°C), an infrared sauna, a large steam bath, a relaxation room with panoramic views of Piz Ot, an outdoor area and an ice mist passage.
