Adventure Castle Altfinstermünz

The Adventure Castle Altfinstermünz is located in the Inn gorge between Pfunds and Nauders in Tyrol, Austria, on the Via Claudia Augusta. The former medieval border and customs station was transformed into an adventure world after a 300-year slumber and is considered the only medieval toll fortress in Tyrol preserved this well. The complex includes the bridge tower, the gate tower (Klausenturm), the Sigmundseck fortress, a natural cave with a rock passage, and the Maria Himmelfahrt chapel. The castle also hosts changing exhibitions and events.
