The city of Fribourg, with its numerous historical references to James the Great, is worth a trip in its own right. The pilgrims’ way crosses the Sainte-Apolline bridge, passing through the diverse landscape of the Glâne district and continuing on to Romont. Glass is very important in this part of Switzerland.
