Lötschberg–Jura, Stage 3/5

The third stage begins in Biel/Bienne, a German- and French-speaking city that is the centre of Switzerland’s watchmaking industry. The Birs River (Birse in French) is your constant companion from Tavannes onwards as you cross impressive gorges and broad valleys. You’re heading for Delémont, the capital of the Canton of Jura with an old town that’s not to be missed.
