Sentiero Alpino Calanca, Stage 2/3

From the Rifugio Pian Grand you climb steeply up to the Fil de Boleta over passes, through breath-taking gaps in the mountains, through troughs and valleys, past lakes like Lac Trescolmen and «Herzlisee» lake to the main base, the Capanna Buffalora, which is the only manned and serviced hut in the Calanca valley.
